Het Amerikaanse tijdschrift Blender noemt Ryan Ross van Panic! At The Disco één van de slechtste tekstschrijvers ooit. “Vervloek de dag dat Ryan Thesaurus ontdekte! Zijn teksten bevatten allemaal vreemde woordspelingen. Het zou nog draaglijk geweest zijn als de jongens van Panic! At the Disco niet zulke betweters waren!” Het tekstuele dieptepunt is volgens Blender een passage uit ‘The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage’. De zinssnede “And I believe this may call for a proper introduction. And well don't you see that I'm the narrator and this is just the prologue” valt niet in de smaak. Zal het nieuwe album daarom geschrapt zijn?

it all comes down to this;

the amarican magazine blender calls ryan ross the worst songwriter ever. He curses the day that ryan discover thesaurus? his lyrics content weird word use. they don't like the difficult words and they say the boys from panic would be more pleasant of the didn't think they know it all.
plus they say something about the new album being deleted? dunno the right word for 'geschrapt'.

I'd say blender needs to grow up and see that there is more than songs that go oooh baby oooh baby i'm sorry i love you.
these songs may be complicated but damn thats what makes this album unique and awsome

Ok now that is a load of bullshit. I agree with Peanut_Butter (Sorry I don't know your name) "Hey hey you you I don't like your girlfiend" Is oen of the worst lyrics i've EVER heard. Really come on Blender, do some f*cken research.

what????????????ryan worse songwriter????????????? that is soooooooooooo wrong, these guys definitely DON'T know what nice lyrics mean, seriously guys, that is so stupid......i know loads of stupid lyrics (and "hey hey you you" is only an example). anyway that is so totally wrong and unfair________i mean if that's how are the bad lyrics, then what are the good ones like??

Well their definition of good lyrics are stupid, simple stuff written by uncreative people and have no meaning at all. Probably stuff like the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears and urgh yuck. I doubt any of those people had brains or even right lyrics themselves, unlike Ryan that GOT A SCHOLARSHIP.

yeah and i think it's quite sad__i mean the fact they dislike anything except their pop bands, and i don't think it's bad they like that pop stuff__but it's really bad they dislike almost everything else_!!!!!!!that is non-democratic too!!!!!

Because (now this is going to sound a little hypocritic but here goes...) they are narrow minded people and don't know how to appreciate certain things haha. But then again, in that senses, I guess everyone is. But I guess you know, certain things are acquired tastes.

It's not very fair cuz first the person who wrote that probably dont even understand their lyrics (hes probably some old perv) and second, well the list is bullshit anyway. Why didn't they put rappers or pop singers ? Sure, we dont expect them to write something intelligent -if they do sing something they wrote by themselvs- but it still stinks. I do not understand.

That is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. Ya there are some difficult words in there songs and i had to pull out a dictionary, but really, whats wrong with a few interesting words? I think it makes it even better!

i'm just wondering did the person who wrote this live in a cave for like the past *almost* 3 years. where were you dickface when panic started. they were big the second that album hit the store, so kiddo do some more research before you call an amazing an unique songwriter the worst songwriter ever. can I have the names of the people who write for madonna britneyspears *n sync backstreat boys and so on and so on. the second a song has some meaning to it other than a tragic love song it sucks. well i wnat to know who hired him/her cause that is the dumbest thing that person ever wrote
