“Let’s go shopping,” Lauren blurted out.

Currently, I was laying upside down on my couch reading a magazine, while Lauren flipped through channels.

“It can’t hurt, I guess. Although it’s pretty much pointless for me since I don’t fit into anything.” I sighed.
“Shut up. There’s a pedicure at House of Chiang with your name on it.”
“Can’t argue there,” I laughed.

“Hey, maybe we should stop in here?” I wondered, pointing to a baby store.

Lauren and I had gotten our pedicures and I waddled down the street half because I’m pregnant, half because I was trying not to mess up my bright blue toes.

“Aw! Yes! I hope it’s a girl!” Lauren squealed, running into the store.

“This is so fucking BA,” I stated, holding up a onsie with an Iron Maiden logo on it. “My kid is going to be—“

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” A random chick apologized after bumping into me.
“Oh, it’s totally fine,” I laughed.
“Wow, you’re really pregnant…” She blurted out.
“Yeah, almost 9 months haha.”

“My fiancée and I are hoping for kids, is being pregnant terrible?”

These were odd questions for a stranger to be asking, but in Vegas, nothing really surprised me…

“Well, I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty terrible. You always have to eat, pee and you get super weird cravings. Heartburn, kicking, and this giant belly gets in the way.”
“God, are they worth it? Haha, my fiancée, Ryan, wants a baby so bad. But I don’t want to have one before we’re married, you know?”

“Yeah, ending up like me would be terrible!” I replied, a little sarcastically.
“Oh, I didn’t mean it like that, I’m sure you’ll do fine. Gosh, I’m just messing up constantly. Well, I’m Allison.”
“I’m Lily,” I smiled.

“Nice to meet you! Have you thought of any names?”
“No, not really. I don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, so I don’t want to plan for one until the time comes.”
“Ah, I see. Well, I’ve got to run, good luck, Lily!” She smiled sweetly.
“Thanks, Good luck with your fiancée…”
