I opened my eyes to the sound of blaring Billy Joel.
“Ugh, Dad,” I sighed to myself, getting out of bed.

I froze.

I completely forgot! Today was the day—Pete and my 2 month anniversary. Two months. Two amazing months. I wonder if he’ll remember?

PEEEETEEEEE//
‘Perfect’ I thought to myself, arranging the roses before walking away quietly.

“Alright, Pete. You ready?” Mr. Urie asked me.
“Yep! Thanks so much Mr. Urie! It means so much to me!”
“Please, Jason. Call me Jason. Oh, anytime, son. I like you. You’re good for my Anna.”

He switched on the stereo and turned up the volume really loud.

“THANKS AGAIN!” I yelled over the music, hurrying back to my house.

ANNAAAA//
“DAD, TURN DOWN THE DAMN MUSIC!” I yelled down the stairs.

Obviously, he didn’t hear me. That dork.
I opened my door and took a step. ’what the f**k?’ I thought as I stepped on something cold and soft-ish. It was a rose bud.

I took a step back.

“HAPPY 2 MONTHS, BABY <3 –P” was written in roses and rose pedals on the floor outside my bedroom. He remembered!

There was a note next to the message. Hmm… what could this be?
