Welcome to the forum! It's great to have more members into graphics. Good job!
Hmm...as for suggestions, maybe try some opacities. To have Brendon highlight the picture even more, you can make it so that the rest of the band doesn't come up as clearly or they come up lighter than Brendon on the left.
Let me know if you don't know what I mean.
I think it looks great, though! Especially the placing of Brendon and the background. I think it looks really cool.
