Hey everyone!

For my communication studies coursework I am focusing on how Panic! at the Disco’s interpersonal communication (the way in which they communicate with each other through their faces, eyes , bodily contact, movements and the way they dress) alter from when they are onstage, during performances, to when they are off stage during interviews etc?

I was wondering if as part of my research, you could help me by filling in this short questionnaire. Just copy and paste the text below and post it again in a new post with your answers!

On a kind of final note thank you in advance for completing this questionnaire, I posted it on a few other forums but no one took it seriously and I could not really use any of their results... so yeah I'm counting on you guys coz I trust and love you so much It will be a great help to both me, and my communication coursework if you complete this seriusoly, your answers may even appear in my Panic! presentation exam I have in like 2 weeks! eek!

Brendon because in interviews he is always kinda nudging ryan and has alot of facial exspressions

2.)Would you say that the band communicate better with each other onstage and to the audience or offstage to an interviewer etc?
onstage as off they are abit more playful

3.)What would you say, the way in which the band dress onstage (old stage costumes, R.I.P the rosevest <3) shows about them?
that they are very theatrical and believe in putting on a show

4.)What would you say, the way in which the band dresses offstage shows about them?
in ryans case he has no sense of fashion but as a rule they do dress very neatly e.g shirts

erm yeah i guess cuz they are costumes

nope cuz they are they're on clothes

brendon, because he has all of those facial expressions (like the eyebrow thing).

i think they communicate better in interviews, because they're not focused on something else.

i think it shows that they have unique personalities, and like to express themselves with the way they dress

it shows that they're really just normal people

well, i think they want to match so that it all works together...

i'd say they all use eye contact equally.

i think they use more eye contact on stage because they have no other way to communicate

Brendon has a wide range of facial expressions and uses body language a lot.

2.)Would you say that the band communicate better with each other onstage and to the audience or offstage to an interviewer etc?
The band communicates better offstage because they can be more relaxed.

3.)What would you say, the way in which the band dress onstage (old stage costumes, R.I.P the rosevest <3) shows about them?
They want to set themselves apart from other bands and create a better experience for those attending the concerts.

They usually look put-together and you can tell they put thought into the way they present themselves.

Brendon uses it a lot onstage especially with Ryan but he makes eye contact offstage as well.

Brendon has confidence and likes to engage those he's speaking with in the conversation.

They use the typical hand gestures that accompany speech. This shows that they are animated.
