This is just the realisticly annoying side coming out in me, but, why would he IM a fan? I guess it'd be different if it was like the president of the fanclub or something... but it wasn't.

I agree. But Spencer told everyone what his IM was.
And since I'm nice I'll share it, but he may have changed it: Jason Tate! At The Disco
And William Beckett told everyone what the band's was, and his computer crashed because of all the people IMing him, the windows pop up and it was too much for it and it crashed.
