you've guessed it right, this is some sort of sequel to 'My little raspberry.' though it is a prequel instead. rapsberry is suppose to take place when gwen and the gang are around 22-23 years old, but this will go back to... high school. hope you'll enjoy.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
“You’re supposed to get something out of these years, not throw them away just because you know someone who decided to have a party tonight, ‘cause of the fact that his parents left town for a business-trip.”
“It’s not really a party. There’s just going to be some dudes, and I don’t even think there will be any alcohol there, so we won’t have to worry about anything that will affect us in a negative wa-,”
“Just a fucking hookah which could poison us all! Do you wanna die like that?”
“And what if I want to? What are you gonna do about it?”
“Force you to stay home at my place tonight and watch some shitass bad TV-show, what else?”
“Maybe I wanna try hookah!”
“Why do you act like you’re five years old, stupid?”
“Oh f**k, because I’m nervous as hell, and I didn’t get much sleep last night, and that makes me cranky and shit.”
“So what are you gonna do about it?”
“I’m going to… lie on top of you, and then get some rest.”
“Screw you, get off!”
“Am I interrupting something?”
You could find this scene pretty awkward, but it wasn’t a bit; a girl with numerous colors in her hair on top of a brown-haired girl. It was like a daily routine when they got a hold on each other. The guy who had expressed the last sentence just shook his head and sat down beside the brown-haired girl who seemed having hard time breathing after laughing too much.
“I don’t think so,” she said, wiping her eye and used his shoulder as support for her arm.
“Of course not Brendon, just some plain ol’ lesbian s*x,” the girl with all the colors said. Brendon seemed slightly embarrassed.
“Come on, Samantha!”
“Why do you call me Samantha? As well as I like my name, I prefer people calling me my nickname.”
“Well, I don’t like calling people by their nicknames unless I know them.”
“And you don’t know me?”
“No, I don’t know you.”
“Avoid it then!” she shrieked and gave him the hand. “Well, I’m going to go find Squirly now, I hope you’ll enjoy the fact that I’m gone,” she said before she walked away, the hand now on her hip.
“’Squrily’? Is that a person?”
“Her name’s Everlyn and she’s in Sammy’s year. I got to know her some weeks ago.”
“Why is she called Squirly?”
“Well… I’m not sure. Sammy had a weird idea that was the base of it, but I haven’t understood the rest.”
“I’ve always thought she was a little weird.”
“Bren, I though you were a good Mormon-boy until now, way to go with being nice. She’s little y’know.”
“Don’t say you’re always gonna look at me like the Mormor-boy.”
“I’m just sayi-.”
“Gwen!”
“Alright, alright, you’re a badass guy, and you kick people’s asses every day.”
“That’s more like it, my little cheesecake,” he said and ruffled her hair until there was no control left over it.
“Brendon!”
“But seriously, I’m thinking about leaving the LDS when I graduate.”
“That’s a year from now, and do you really think that your parents would support you in that decision?”
“Of course they wouldn’t, they want me to go to college, but I’ve got other things that I wanna do.”
“Are you talking about that band you just started in?”
“I didn’t just start in the band; we’re good on our way. I just feel that we might get somewhere with this and everything, we’ve got songs in progress, and I’m getting my parts into my head. Nothing seems to go wrong right now.”
“You know I support you whatever you do, man, just don’t get into trouble, and stay the Brendon I know.”
“Like that would ever change. Don’t we have a class now?”
“Oh shit, why do you ask me those things when you already know them?”
“Because I wasn’t sure, moron!”

Everlyn was really pretty, most likely the definition of prettiness, with her long dark-brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes. She was a petite person. Guys definitely turned heads when she walked by. You just had to like her. You expected her to be from another country, like a place in Europe or something, but when she started to speak her dialect wasn't what you would expect. She had this perfect British way of speaking, that could melt your ear, because there wasn't many people in this area that were known for speaking like that. During the short period of time Gwen had known her, she had learned that Everlyn's father had moved to Vegas after he and Everlyn's mother had split up, and Everlyn had chosen to go with her father to America.
"You say that WHAT happened?"
It was Monday morning and Everlyn, or Squirly as Sammy called her, sat between Sammy and Gwen on a bench and told them about her weekend. Apparently she had had a blast at a official party for the youth of the community, in her own special way. Sammy was more than eager to hear about it, and Gwen wasn't far behind her.
"What? It was not like I was the one who took initiative from the beginning, I just used the opportunity a bit."
"You know that he's the guy I've been longing for the passed few weeks, right?" Gwen said.
"I've heard just a little about that. Something like you ran into him everywhere or what?"
"Exactly, an--"
Before they could continue the discussion a colored girl, which you in some sort of way could mistake for a guy because of her baggy clothes that wasn't feminine in any way, sat down beside Gwen and immediately lay her torso across her lap.
"-d it's just a little bit funny it turned out to be him you exchanged saliva with during that night. Hi Jolene, what's up with you?" Jolene looked up and med Gwen's eyes.
"Are you saying I can't be tired, you fucking racist! It's not like I've harmed you in any way, and that's how you repay me, dragging me through the mud." Gwen was absolutely shocked by her harsh words. "Chill racist, my class just ended and your lap looked so comfortable, but I think you owe me four kisses."
Gwen sighed and gave Jolene what she wanted so badly as it seemed.
"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, I'm begging you, please don't take my--," Sammy sang out with her strong voice and stopped on the last word to continue it seconds later, "-- woman."
"And what if she's my woman too?"
"She's just enough for one, fucker!"
"Hey, hey hey! I'm good enough for everybody," Gwen shrieked, trying desperately to get out of both Sammy and Jolene's grips.
"You know that you just described yourself as a prostitute, which is my biggest goal to turn you into!" Sammy shrieked back.
"Get of off her, you morons, everyone knows she mine and can't belong to anyone else," Everlyn said with her calm, ordinary voice.
"Well, I though I had shotgun when it came to Gwen," a voice said out of no where, and when everyone looked left they saw Brendon standing there.
"That's not really official since you've known her the longest," Sammy called out.
"False, Betty have known her the longest."
"Then why should you have shotgun?"
"Because I'm the only guy in this discussion?"
"Ohohoh, I think our little Mormon-boy Brendon here have the hots for his best girlfrie--." Gwen punched Sammy in the shoulder before the had finished the last syllable. Brendon looked as embarrassed as he had looked a few days before in the hall.
"Gwen, you know that we start in like... five seconds, right?" he said and pushed his glasses from the tip of his nose closer to his eyes.
"Alright, I'm coming," she answered and pushed Jolene to the side, giving her a free way of getting up on her feet. "My class ends in like two hours. I know, that sucks, but what's up after?"
"I though we were going to plan stuff and shit," Sammy said, totally focused on Everlyn's hair.
"'Bout Cali? Sure, we could meet outside school then?"
"Great dude."
"See'ya then. Come on Brendon, or we're gonna be more late than we already are." She grabbed his arm, helping him to hurry down the corridor.
"Are you accusing me of slowing you down?"
"Not accusing you, I'm just stating a fact."
"You're hurting my feelings like you've never hurt them before!"
"Don't be such a baby!"
"When are you leaving for Cali? Also known as leaving me all alone in this godforsaken town."
"Hopefully when the summer vacation starts, y'know, to get away and try something new."
"Didi you ever take your driving license?"
"Yep, so you're watching the driver of the trip: It's mostly because I can resist the alcohol, but I'll make sure they will too."
"Oh, so that's why my mom likes you so much, you stay away trom the booze."
"There has to be other reasons you mom like me."
"There could be the fact that you're nice too."
"Could be that, but now I see that we have reached our goal, so wha'd'ya say, should we kick some ass with our fantastic grammar skills, companion?"
"As long as I don't slow you down." |

I'm bohohooooored.
to listen to the song that's played in the end, go to; http://www.purevolume.com/camerawhore and just pick 'heart gone lost' =)
_____________________________________________________________
The hours passed so slowly, too slow. Gwen could barely keep her eyes open. It was Thursday, which meant hell, and this had been hell of a week. Not even Brendon had had the strength and luck of keeping her spirit up with all his failed jokes and pats on the back. She was failing at life as it seemed. She had to bare one more day, and after that she was free for two whole days. No responsibility. No pressure. Just her and a bag of cheese doodles and maybe a Disney-movie. With no people around her in the corridor of the school, she tilted her head toward the wall behind her. She'd left her class for a couple of minutes, claiming she had to use the toilet and that it was an emergency. Of course it wasn't, even Brendon, who sat beside her, knew that. There were only fifteen minutes or so left of the lesson anyway.
She must have forgot that she sat there, because fifteen minutes later the bell rang and people came out from a classroom down the corridor. Panicking a bit, she went against the flow of her classmates and finally met up with Brendon who unfortunately stood beside their teacher, Mrs Philips.
"Hey, I though you were coming back a little sooner," he said and handed her her books which he'd been carrying for her.
"I thought so too, but time kind of got a hold of me."
"Well, as I said to the others; page 96 until next Tuesday, and then I will give you all a test so I know how far you've come with everything," Mrs Philips said and supported her own weight on the pointer. You could barely guess the age of the woman, she wasn't that old, but pretty strict.
"Got it, have a nice weekend, Mrs Philips," Gwen said and grabbed Brendon's arm to drag him along down the corridor.
"Why didn't you come back?"
"Like I said, I forgot time."
"Are you alright?"
"I hate this fucking week, are you happy?"
"Not really, but chill down, we've only got one lesson left this day and then you're free as the wind."
"For like a couple of hours, and then we're back in this hell-hole again."
"It's only hard because you're making it sound like tha--,"
"And I suppose you find everything like a fucking game that you can win no matter what."
"Alright," he said firmly, suddenly using a rather Irish-influenced accent, "listen here, young lady. I have no clue what got a hold of you, well, probably time, whatever, but you're not acting like Gwen, so tell me, what did you do to her?"
"I haven't do--."
"Nu-huh, don't give me that. I know she's hiding somewhere in there, and you won't let her out until it's safe. I'm trying to tell you this, it's safe now!"
"Is this some kind of Mormon ritual or something?"
"It's not as creepy as you think it is. I don't know if I can handle you right no--, ah, awesome, I can let someone else have you for a couple of minutes," he said and turned Gwen around. Sammy came rushing toward her with Everlyn tripping along behind her.
"Gwen, sweetness, you have to come with me right now!"
"Just take her! She's poisoning me with her negative tension," Brendon said dramatically.
"Tell me sometime she isn't negative. You'll get her back in like ten." Brendon nodded and let the girls walk back the way they'd come, but now with Gwen dragged along.
"Where are we going?"
"My favorite part of this school; the music-room. I'm wanna show you something."
"It's actually bloody brilliant," Everlyn put in with her British accent.
"You can say 'awesome', Squirly."
"Well, then it's bloody awesome."
After turning round a number of corners they approached a door that would probably be locked, it looked like it was locked. Sammy's face was a little tricky, you could tell she had something up her sleeve. When Gwen put out her hand to push down the handle, it truly was locked.
"Now what?" Sammy grinned.
"You know me, I can manage anything." Out from her actual sleeve, she pulled a key, that everyone knew where it went. She slipped it into the lock, turned and opened the door.
"You're amazing," Gwen said and sighed.
"You bet I am. Now, come here with me, and sit down beside me by the piano."
And Gwen did so. When she'd given Sammy an OK to go, the girl put her fingers on the piano keys and started to play.
"Listen here to a story 'bout a girl,
she is 'bout one point six,
with brown hair, and brown eyes,
and she wears way too much make-up.
Kinda short, kinda small, kinda everything,
kind about everything I'm not.
Kinda caught me by surprise,
kinda already judged her,
and I admit that I was wrong.
because...
When she walks the wind will blow,
and her smile can melt a heart.
She can't find her heart gone lost,
because she always cares too much.
And every second that will pass,
still she can't find her heart gone lost."
Gwen looked over at Everlyn, who sat by herself and smiled, mumbling along with the words Sammy sang. Gwen realized pretty early that the song was about their friend from Britain.
"She met this boy who was a hell a lot of taller,
and his voice could stop the world."
Gwen now realized that she sang about a guy she used to go to class with, and had a fucking killer voice.
"She kinda gave it her best,
she kinda tried everyday to
make him laugh,
to make him smile,
to make him feel incredible.
Still they never really talked,
just polite, polite, polite.
He couldn't see that..."
And so Sammy was back to the obvious chorus again. Gwen could do nothing else but smile of joy.
"Now this party kinda threw her world around.
She met this movie star at this Hollywood restaurant.
Cross her heart and blind her eyes
and let her see through different lights,
so she can see that..."
Sammy had another reference to their in real lives; the guy Eve had met a few weeks ago at an actual party, not a particularly Hollywood restaurant, but it was a really great metaphor. After that came another chorus, and then another one, but with other words.
"Let the lights shine through the dark,
and let the sun dry out the rain.
Give her a smile, oh, when she cries,
'cause I think that she deserves
someone who'll help her when she falls,
and can hold her through the storm.
Someone who'll see that..."
A chorus, but an increase, and then another increase. Sammy truly was unstoppable with her voice, and Gwen loved that about her. When she'd gave the song a worthy ending she turned to look at Gwen.
"Sooooooo, what'd'ya think?"
"If I'd been gay for real, I'd throw myself at you right about now." |

I'm bored, bored, bored...
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
All by herself, singing out loud wasn’t that big of a deal. After looking right, then left, then over her shoulder, she established that she was all alone on the sidewalk this hour of the day. It was chilling, pretty cold, and stars were twinkling in the sky, looking down upon her, and so she wasn’t really alone. There were no worries she would get caught sounding like a fool, because everyone knows that when you sing to the music in your headphones, it doesn’t sound the same as it does in your own head, itsounds fucking awful.
“… and my senses are coming unglued…”
She felt her hands literally flow with the music as she walked. All alone she felt free, like no one could touch her.
“… does questions my metal health. It makes me loose control…”
Somewhere a few feet away she heard noises and for a moment brought up her guard. Even though walking alone was nice, getting raped wasn’t, of what she’d heard anyway.
“… and I end up talking to myself…”
Her focus wasn’t entirely on the music by now. She was trying to figure out where she was heading next. She’d gotten directions before to the spot. She was mainly focusing whether she was going to go left or right at the fork.
“… and spew my guts out to the open air…”
“Screw this,” she hissed and unlocked her cell phone. After sending a text message she went back to listen to the lyrics of the music, now a new song than the one before.
“… I wonder if he knows I think he’s crazy…”
Her phone clicked and she read what it said; “take the left then you can follow the music?” She sighed. It was so an ‘Sammy-answer’. She followed the directions and soon heard what she was listening for. Heavy beats came from far ahead, and soon she could hear loud talking, laughing and screaming. Taking a deep breath she dived into the fog.
“Gwenny-girl! I was wondering when you’d show up!” Sammy shrieked when she discovered Gwen among the gathering of people.
“I sent you a text message like fifteen minutes ago; you could guess when I would show up.”
“Not really, you see, I found tasty things during that time, so I kind of forgot where you were. But I’m excited that you’re here now. Squirly is here too, she’s over there!”
“Hi Gwen, Samantha told me you were coming any minu-,”
“Don’t call me Samantha. Only my parents do that. Are you my mother? Are you? Because that would be really creepy.”
“Alright… Sammy! Anyhow, why are you so late, Gwen?”
“Oh, I had to have dinner with dad and Fatima, and my sister was there as well. They’re here for a few days; she, Carlos, and little Adrián too.”
“Well, where do they live otherwise?”
“New York. I’m going to visit them maybe next summer, or the one after that, and Sammy’s gonna follow, right gorgeous?”
“And fucking right you ar--, DANIELLE!”
Danielle was in the same year as Gwen, and though they’d been around each other for three years now they’d only known each other for about one year. One word that could describe her was; perfect. She wasn’t that tall, but she had a killer-body, and long, flowing brown hair. Sammy seemed to have interrupted a conversation between Danielle and her boyfriend, but she had no problems with taking small leaps to them.
“Hi sugar!” she shrieked when she saw Gwen and threw her arms around her.
“Don’t give me diabetes now, will’ya?” she said and laughed it off.
“Dani, Dani, I just have to tell you something!” Sammy said and grabbed Danielle’s hand firmly.
“What?”
“You’re seriously my goddamn idol. I mean, you dress like a goddess, you have the hair of a goddess, you do your make up like a goddess, and you have a fucking personality of a goddess. Are you sure you’re not a goddess?”
Watching Danielle’s reaction was a thrill itself. She wasn’t sure what to say at first, she was just holding tight to Sammy’s hand and staring her in the eyes. Her mouth formed a smile, an extremely excited smile. She started showering Sammy with kisses on the mouth.
“Thank you, sweetheart, you have no idea how much that healed!” Sammy giggled a bit as respond and sighed when Danielle went back to her boyfriend.
“You’ve almost officially made out with sexy Danielle,” Gwen said and grinned.
“There were eight kisses. I counted,” she answered and looked pretty proud for being Sammy. Gwen rolled her eyes and caught Everlyn’s.
“What have I missed?”
“Pretty much actually, but nothing you will take any harm from missing. Otherwise that Dylan, you know that lad in you class, in some sort of way got the idea of snogging the girls around him, and it is not like you have anything against it when it’s him we are talking about. He ended up snogging me, then Sammy and last Olivia, and he pretty much kept her the longest.”
“Awesome. Anything else? Woah, what have Mark been up to? Chased anyone around yet?”
“You could say the whole evening. I think he’s been up to guys too, poor bastard.” Gwen laughed a little, looking to her left, seeing a guy running around with bare chest. She wasn’t surprised at all.
“He’s still proud of his body, right?”
“Ulrich have always been proud of his body. It’s just slightly sad. Hey, did you get where Sammy disappeared?”
“Uh, not really, she might be behind some corner, doing only-God-knows-what.” Gwen glanced on look at Everlyn and she immediately got the point. They both grinned and clutched onto each others arms and started walking around the place, looking around among the people. There were no Sammy to be seen, but Gwen ran into loads of people from her classes. After searching for a good twenty minutes they stopped beside a wall and leaned against it, arms crossed. Gwen wrinkled her nose when she heard noises coming from around the corner and nodded to Everlyn. When looking askance, both of their eyes widened and mouth were opened.
“Sammy? Jolene?” |

I seriously don't know what people think about the prequel, soI'm just gonna go ahead and take it as a 'it sucks'. anyhow, if there might be people that appreciates it, here 'ya go;
______________________________________________________________________________________________
"Just give me some time to figure this out, will'ya?"
It was the day after, and everyone, not including Gwen, were feeling like shit, from all the alcohol last night. She and Sammy were sitting beside on another with their backs against the wall, talking about all of the events from the party. Sammy had of course been bragging about Danielle kissing her, but now she was trying to sort out what really had happened between her and Jolene, who, for your information, was sleeping and snoring on a mattress on the floor. Everlyn had disappeared from the room for a few minutes, probably to make a quick visit to the bathroom. A guy Gwen and Sammy knew, Greg, muttered something from where he lay on the couch, no one was sure if he was sleeping or not.
"Okay, I'll get back to you in a few weeks, and maybe then you'll even be in a relationship with my favorite-niggah."
"Get back to me, and then we'll see. My head hurts like mad. I'm never gonna drink alcohol again."
"They all say that, but guess what will happen at the next party."
"I'm not stupid, because I know that."
"Good for you your parents are out of town for the weekend."
"You betcha, I'd never take the risk of crashing here otherwise. Do you have a painkiller?"
"Do I look like someone who would?"
"Ehm, you--, could have problems..."
"Okay, in my bag, look there." Sammy smirked and stood up, taking a few seconds to gain balance and then marching through the room to find Gwen's small bag.
"You're a saviour, you know that, right?"
"I've heard it a couple of times." Sammy smirked and took a small leap over Jolene's body to get back to Gwen. Before she had had the time to sit down Gwen noticed her cellphone started buzzing, and quickly answered before it could bother the ones sleeping. "Yo?"
Gwen was silent for a couple of minutes, just uttering small words now and then, but staring into nothing. Sammy started to be really worried when Gwen suddenly nodded, said 'O-, o-, okay...".
"What? Did someone die or something?" Gwen shook her head and rubbed her eyes, as if she was trying to figure out if the conversation really just had happened. "Who was it then?"
"It was... Rebecka, and she said that-, she said that she can get a hold on tickets to Green Day if we want to go!"
"Are you talking about California?"
"f**k yeah!"
"Oh my God, I've always wanted to go to California. I know that we are supposed to go, but now we only have bigger reasons, so my mother can't hold me back!"
"I-, I don't know what to say...WE'RE GOING TO A GREEN DAY-CONCERT!" As expected, after Gwen's little shriek both Jolene and Greg looked up, extremely confused by the look on them. All Greg really did was muttering nasty words and put down his head almost instantly. Jolene raised her eyebrows and just looked at Gwen, not saying a word. "... sorry."
"f**k'em, we're going to a fucking Green Day-concert, Gwen! They are your Gods, you should scream your heart out. Is this something we can plan into the road trip?"
"It definitely is, Rebecka told me so. She said she would meet us there, because she's flying and we're going by car."
"We should plan more!"
"The road trip is months away..."
"Nu-huh, it's like three months away, that's not a long period of time. Do we have contacts on the way so we can stop to get some sleep?"
"Well, yeah, but we've got a tent too, so we won't have to force ourselves into people's homes."
"Yes, we do!"
"How come?"
"I'm in need of running water."
"Now you are just overreacting."
"And what if I'm not?"
"I say this; we can ask if we can use their backyards, then we don't take so much space, and we might be able to use their bathrooms, how does that sound?"
"I will think about it."
"I haven't managed to catch onto what you guys are talking about, but it's probably very interesting, but please tell me; why is everything spinning?" Jolene managed to squeeze out.
"Because you're an alcoholic, just like Samantha here, but I have pills which can help you with your problems."
"I've got problems? You've got problems with your racial prejudices." Everyone in Gwen and Jolene's presence always knew they were joking with each other. Gwen wasn't a racist in any way, but Jolene liked to call her one, and Gwen gave her 'racial' comments from time to time.
"Chill down, right now, my head hurts too. And where's Everlyn by the way, she's been gone for like forty minutes no-." Before Sammy could finish, Everlyn opened the door, rushed in an closed it behind her, her whole face red from blushing so much. "Where the f**k have you been?"
"I have been talking to Zachary..." |

it still sucks....
___________________________________________________________________________________________
There was an unspoken tension in the corridor at Palo Verde High School, and Gwen could do nothing else but to hum of all the satisfaction. No one really knew what happened at the party last Friday, but everyone sure as hell tried to forget, or even remember. Danielle had already been up to Sammy only to state that it had been kind of embarrassing. Sammy had just looked at her, confused, and asked what she was talking about.
“Y’know, that thing-- that happened…”
“I’m sorry sweetheart, but I still have no idea what you are talking about.”
“But you should have.”
“Why?”
“Because-, because-, because of the fact that we made out!” Danielle could have been more discreet, but was she? No, she practically yelled it out so everyone around them could hear.
“Oh, that. But that’s not really embarrassing; it’s just things that happen at parties.”
“Are you sure?”
“You betcha,” Sammy said and blinked her eye.
“Sweet, I’ve got to go find Gabe now, I think he’s hiding somewhere where he doesn’t want me to find him. See’ya in class, Gwenny-girl.” Danielle strutted away cheerfully, and Gwen noticed the grin on Sammy’s face.
“It was her choice to reveal to the world that we basically made out,” she said, trying to look innocent.
“But there were only kisses…”
“Eight of them,” Sammy said with a dreamy look in her eyes.
“Snap out of it! When are you going to leave me?”
“Pretty much soon, because I’ve got a class and then I’m gonna meet up with Jolene, and we’re gonna go down town because I’m gonna help her pick out some new colors for her hair.”
“So it’s going to be you two tonight?”
“Just for the evening and it’s not what you thin-, alright, it might turn into what you think it is.”
“You so do not know me that well!” Sammy just rolled her eyes and stood up, in perfect time for Brendon to walk up to the two of them.
“Samantha,” he said politely. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. He really knew how touch her nerves. She popped up her hand and winked at Gwen and then walked to her locker. Brendon just looked pleased.
“You two have to learn to get along someday,” Gwen said and offered him the seat next to her. After sitting down, he tilted his head on her shoulder and took a deep breath. “Aw, how are you, pumpkin?”
“Awesome, can’t you tell?” The sound of irony in his voice was impossible to overlook.
“You know what; I’ve decided that it’s you and me-night tonight. You, me and a cartoon movie, what do you say?”
“Lucky for you, we haven’t got band practice tonight, so I might have time to slip you in for a couple of hours.”
“You aren’t a huge rock star yet.”
“Just wait, just wait. Soon I’ll have like millions or girls crawling at my feet just to get to smell my hair or something, and you know you just wanna be one of them.” Gwen laughed and ruffled his hair, making it even more messy than it already was,
“Have you got any songs yet, then?”
“It’s on its way. All I can say to you now is that it’s about shotguns and weddings.”
“That doesn’t really say much, but you have to promise to give me a copy of the demo when it’s done.”
“Yeah, I’m gonna give one to you before I give one to my mother. Dad won’t get one, because I know he’s not supporting anyway. Mom has kind of got the fact of what I want to do with my life.”
“Your dad will someday too, you know.” Brendon peeked up on Gwen through his bangs and nodded, looking pretty much like a lost dog. Gwen giggled without any particular reason and patted him on the cheek. “We get off in like an hour, right?” He nodded again.
“Mhm, I’m just gonna meet up with Brent quickly and then we can take the bus home to you, for an awesome movie-night.”
“But we still have school tomorrow…”
“Feel like rebel a little?”
“Brendon! When did you turn out like this?”
“I’ve never been a bright head in school, so it’s not like you can complain. Come on; let’s just see what’ll happen.” Gwen hesitated about his proposition, and gave it at least five minutes.
“Alright, but it’s your fault if I fall asleep at school tomorrow.” |

You're welcome It's a great background for the 1st one. When it's finished I'll probably read them again in the opposite order.
Lol Spencer saving the day, an unfortunate truth for that interview tho... Felt bad at the time for not making it more fiction like _________________ Uh huh, holy shit. It's about time you got off my dick.

that sounds awesome ^^ here's another chapter. my favourite so far.
__________________________________________________________________________________________
“Totally fucking awesome!” Brendon said, pushed the glasses to the tip of his nose, and regarded the new surround-sound Gwen’s dad had purchased a few weeks earlier.
“I didn’t think you swore,” Gwen said, slightly surprised by the language of her friend.
“It’s a change I’ve made since, like, last week.”
“I don’t think I like all the changes you’ve made lately…”
“You’ve got to be kidding me?”
“Of course I am. Your task is to make popcorn, like, now.”
Gwen knew Brendon was familiar with her kitchen, so she was confident to let him go entirely. It was easy to figure out if anyone was home in Gwen’s house. She peeked into her younger brother’s room; no one sitting by the computer there. Her father’s room looked empty too. Everything was clear. She went over to her own room and sighed when she’d opened the door. It was too messy in there for her own good, almost unhealthy.
“I’ve seen worse,” Brendon said, peeking over her shoulder. She leaped, terrified of his sudden presence.
“Stop doing that,” she said, grasping for air.
“What? Taking your breath away? I don’t think that’s possible, I mean, who could resist this pair of glasses on the tip of this nose, just not possible.” He gave her the expression that just shrieked Brendon Urie all over. It would melt her heart every time, she just hadn’t told him yet. She figured if was normal to be a little bit in love with your best friend at times, so of course she wouldn’t take it seriously. She slapped him playfully over the cheek and went downstairs to the living room to decide the movie they would watch.
“I’m so up for Cinderella!” Brendon said.
“I don’t have that one.”
“Well, then I probably could manage it with Beauty and the Beast.”
“I don’t have that one either.”
“You’re totally ruining my mood for Disney-movies.”
“I borrowed Pocahontas, oh, oh, oh, and Sleeping Beauty.”
“I can hear what you’re going for in your voice. Three fairies will do for me, but next time I want the godmother fairy.”
“Fine,” Gwen said and put the tape in the VHS-player, only to get interrupted from pressing play by her cell phone ringing, “yo.”
“What’s up, biatch?” Gwen recognized the voice of Betty even before she had said the second word.
“Oh, I’m just putting Sleeping Beauty in the player. Brendon and I are having a little movie-night.”
“Tonight? On a weekday?”
“Mhm, I just suggested an evening. He will take the blame for the consequences. But what are you up to tonight?”
“Here’s the thing. I was thinking of maybe drop by later tonight, ‘cause I have to return some of your stuff. Is that alright?”
“Hold on just a second. Hey Brendon, is it alright if Betty comes over later?”
“Why wouldn’t it be? She knows she’s my favourite bassist in the whole world.”
“Awesome. Betty, just roll by whenever you feel like it, alright?”
“Love you, honeypie.”
“Love you too, kisses.” She hung up and turned to Brendon. “You don’t like the bassist in your band or what?”
“Y’know, he’s alright, I suppose.”
“But if you wanna get somewhere with your band you should have a great trust to each other.”
“Why are you trying to tell me how to handle my own band?”
“I just wanted to share my opinion. Sorry for that.” The tension, it was everywhere. Gwen felt it. Brendon felt it. The neighbours might have felt it too. She sat down beside him with her arms crossed over her chest.
“So, do you want popcorn?” Brendon asked. Gwen just nodded and pressed play on the remote. As they got into the movie, the tension disappeared slowly. They ended up like they always would; spooning, just because it was always the cosiest alternative. Gwen always got emotional from those kinds of movies, just because they were so romantic and fairytale-ish. Brendon always laughed at that in the end.
Around 10 PM Betty showed up at the front door and invited herself to go inside. On her shoulder she had a case for an acoustic guitar, which she put down beside the armchair she sat down in herself later.
“Yo, bitches, I’m in the building. There's your pap's guitar.”
“Betty, you’re not black, sweetheart.”
“Don’t crush my fucking dream. What if I wanna be like Whoopi?”
Gwen snatched her shoulders and closed her eyed, perfectly comfortable in Brendon’s arms. She knew she could fall asleep right there, but would probably be woken up in some cruel way immediately. She could almost feel that Brendon had an awful grin on his face.
“I was thinking of… a horror next.” |
