Just thought I'd tell you about my time at the Montreal Panic concert. It was absolutely AMAZING! That's the first word I can think of to describe it.
When me and my mum were waiting in line, we were right by their bus (which was parked at the back of the venue). They all went into the bus at least once (individually) and my mum snapped a bunch of pics. I WAS STANDING ONLY 2 METERS AWAY FROM RYAN ROSS!!!! I was soooo excited. It was a bit sad when Jon first came out of the bus though. He was opening the side panels and no one really recognized him at first because he had his glasses on. My mum thought he was a roadie. But then we realized who he was and he posed for us. It was great. We got pictures of all of them- we were sooooo close! I couldn't believe it. Spencer wouldn't pose for anyone's pictures, though . He was the only one who didn't.
And the concert was spectacular! I'd never really heard Phantom Planet until then, but now I NEED to buy their CD. Best opening I'd ever heard. The Hush Sound wasn't so good. They weren't exactly bad, they just didn't have the energy to keep the crowd interested. Motion City Soundtrack was awesome. Justin was hilarious! He kept making jokes with the audience.
But Panic was the best!
It was really funny because the crowd kept chanting something before they went on, and me and my mum couldn't quite make out what they were saying. Then my mum clued in- they kept saying "Pan-ique! Pan-ique!" I was laughing (terrible me) because they didn't really say it right.
I loved when Ry sang 'Behind the Sea' and when Brendon came out on stage by himself to do 'Folkin Around'. Those were my favourite parts (other than seeing them before the concert). They were amazing live. Absolutely amazing.
But now my mum wants to write in to them... Not a good thing. It was an all ages show and Jon was openly drinking onstage. Bren and Ry just drank water, but Jon kept drinking beer. My mum went on about how he wasn't being a good influence. I can understand that- there were a whole bunch of really young people there. He wasn't being responsible at all. I'm kinda disappointed in him too...
Anyways, it was the best time of my life and the best concert I have EVER been to.
I need to scan my pics soon, but I'll get them to you guys ASAP. [You'll love this one, my mum was the only one who got it because she and this other guy were the only ones to see them go into the building from the back and she raced at paparazzi speed and snapped this picture of Brendon looking like a total diva. The other guy's camera didn't turn on in time, so we're the only ones with the pic ] _________________

the show was really good. i was really closed to the stage but my right ear quite suffered since i was just beside the speaker. the security guards were assholes though :/

I know. It just sounded a lot different than I've ever heard it before. I couldn't understand what they were saying at first. _________________

It's kind of rude of Spencer not to pose for pics. What's up with him? _________________
