i don't see what's this whole problem with "scrolling down"
i mean, it's really not as bad as on some forums where each signature takes up half a page so you can only read two messages per page
the longest one i have ever seen on here was mine and i made that shorter WAAAY before those stupid "vikings" came

We should totally sign a petition to this.
I will resize sigs if they're too big.
It's just so plain without them.

And having to cut and paste links out of image tags into the browser takes a lot more work than just being able to see them. A forum isn't the same without html. Not that this forum isn't good, but still. And like Masquerade said, we could have limits on our signature sizes, and if someone exceeds the boundaries, get a moderator remove the sig. That's what they do on another forum I go on. And haven't we been viking free for a few months now, if I'm not mistaken?

That would be pretty easy to apply, don't you think?

Look, I'm not trying to force the admin to do this by any means. The petition is to maybe convince the admin, but it's also kind of a "just-for-fun" thing. The thing that bothers me, is that we haven't had vikings for more than 2 months now, and if there are other said reasons to not bringing html back, tell us. We might be able to negotiate. Like Masquerade and I said, we'll gladly resize images for signatures. Don't get me wrong, the graphics section is still probably one of my favourite sections on the forum, but it's a hassle to upload images and for other people to view them.

NO ONE WANTS TO JOIN A FORUM WHERE THEY CAN'T SEE PICTURES!!!!!

There. I've said it. Especially a band forum, people want to SEE pictures of the band. Or else, really, there's not much point.
If we want the forum to grow, we need something people are going to like. Really, html is not a hassle. Millions of other boards use it. We can take it down if there is another viking issue. Why not put it up right now.
It can't be the size issue. Me and Una can work with that.
It can't be the viking issue. They aren't here right now, and html can be easily taken down again if that comes up.

So what's the problem? It's not a hassle to have it, and it's not a hassle to put it up again.

Yes, the decision is up to the admin, but what kind of admin wants a dying board? Having no html is killing this site. It can still be saved.
