i looked up to ryan not only for being a great musician but he was never stereo typed in my eyes. and yes, i could say the same that he was a hero but now i wonder.

I'm not doubting it, I just think it's a stupid move. It sounds to me like people would just rather think that their idol isn't dumb enough to get caught up in drugs. I don't see what's so wrong about that kind of wishful thinking. It's not that we know exactly for sure, because we haven't seen pictures of him actually doing drugs. I'd say it's a pretty sure thing, but since we don't know in the absolute, then why not give the guy the benefit of the doubt?

it's just a hard thing to do. sure the music will be the same, but why should i look up to him for anything anymore? it's not like i haven't had chance to do certain drugs and said no. i don't care if you're in your 20s, 30s, or your teens. it's stupid it ruins your life. i knew someone who was doing it, it was shit. it's just i don't want to look up to him after that, if it comes out he wasn't doing that, and it's a possiblitly i will admit i was wrong for doubting that, but i highly doubt it. you don't take a picture with drugs in it and then you aren't doing the drugs. those are the stupi moves you make while on drugs.

Some people take these drugs occasionally and are not addicted to it (yep, sound suss but it's true). They may use it to boost their confidence for certain things, if they're feeling a bit uneasy just take a little bit, same goes for alcohol...I know plenty of people who do that, because otherwise they're all awkward and unconfident, and they're not getting addicted and are only taking a bit just to help them feel a bit more vibed and not so bummed out. Don't take me wrong, I'm not encouraging anybody to do it, but for some people it's really just better in my opinion.

i don't think it's that big of a deal, but that's just me.

while it's pretty stupid of him to be photographed with drugs when so many teenagers look up to him, i don't think at all that this makes him a complete dickhead or anything, and my views of him haven't changed.

Holy*Wentz!, some people just feel uncomfortable around all people. It's sad, but true. I also respect your opinion, and I am fully aware I sound like a complete idioto in that post.

Whoever took that picture really could have just cropped it out or you know, thought about how to frame it properly before they took the picture. Unless they did it on purpose, but I doubt that because they were posing in a happy way, so unless they were THAT high they wouldn't do that for the paparazzi...
