if its general admission you want to get there early early early to get a spot up front. the crowds at panic(!) aren't too bad. last time around there was a lot of little 10 year olds running around but i hope the moved onto a new band. besides them theres going to be pushing but there is at EVERY concert. and uhhhhh. bring a camera, some water if you think your going to get dehydrated and eat something small and pee before you go. hahha.

whatever you do, do NOT make this mistake like i did :$
dont scull like 3 glasses of water before hand going 'oo ill drink heaps now so i wont need to pee during the show' then get a headache later on from only drinking water within like 5 minutes not every 20 mins or so like you should be at a concert. _________________

my bit of experiance isn't exactly from a panic! concert, but it's still relevent in a way.
just because you get 'crappy' seats, does not necessarily mean the concerts going to suck. I got seats to the very left of the stage when i went to see fob on the Young Wild Things tours, and you couldn't even see anything going on on stage, and all we did the whole first band was complain about not being able to see. And then Cute is What We Aim for came out, and fall out boy was standing like THREE feet from us against the stage to watch Cute. That was pretty exciting. And then at the end of FOB's set, Pete got off the left of the stage and we all waved, and he waved at us so, all in all, good time.
(pretty damn random)
so yeah, don't get all down in the dumps if you don't get the best seats in teh world _________________ PANIC OVER. NEVADA HAS BEEN LOCATED. |

I dunno if it's the same in Sweden...
But here in the UK I kinda have like a gig ritual/ handbook/ survival guide which I made up myself and I shall be using when I go to see the guys in a fortnight *happy dance*! haha
I learnt most of this from the fist gig I went to (FOB hehe) but also as the years have gone by I've become more experiecned as I've lost count of how many gigs I've been too! haha So here's my tips.
! Never take a bag with you - You always get searched by security with a bag and it wastes time and also holds other people in the cue behind you up, plus when your in there and ,if your standing, you might loose it and that would be a disaster!
! Wear trousers and I advise with BIG pockets! haha - I always see girls with skirts on at concerts and yes they do look nice but it's always unfortunate if they end up having to be lifted out of the crowd and reveal everything to everyone. Plus with the pockets you can make sure you have enough room to fit all your essentials and have them on your persons at all times.
! Take a hoodie not a coat - as it can get really cold while your waiting and queuing but also when your in there in can get very hot so atleast with a hoodie you can tie it tightly and securly around your waist.
! Drink and Eat before hand but not too much - Here we're not allowed to take water or anything into gigs so make sure if that's the case you eat sufficent before you go in... don't wanna be passing out and miss the gig!
! Make sure if you take a camera you have battery life - It's the most disappointing feeling ever to run out of camera battery at a gig! Saddens me soo much haha so charge your batteries or buy new ones before you get there. and I also recommend not using disposable cameras as they may be more practical... but they're not really that good in a gig situation.
! If you start to feel the slightest bit ill get out - I know that it feels awesome to be that close to your favourite band... but I've only ever stayed there and been ill once and I paid for it the next day. Remember if you feel ill drink... you probably be dehydrated and if you need to get out ... don't be afraid to literally push your way out.
Ok what to take - Well I usually take my phone, ticket, camera and wallet with a reaosnable amount of money inside. I always remove any cards or anything out of my wallet just incase.
Time - well depends really the time of the gig starting should be printed on the ticket but bare in mind there will be support acts before Panic so it's up to you. If your not bothered about meeting the band be there about 30 mins to 1 hour before doors open? If you are go as early as you can. Not matter what time you go you'll get a reasonable view and tbh not being at the front isn't the end of the world you'll still have a great time!
Crowd - Generally Panic! fans are quite nice compared to most... but watch out for the fan girls as they don't particularly care about anything but Brendon's SeXiNeSs!!!111 - sooo ummm yeah They'll probably be a little crushing and pushing... but tbh there always is no matter what gig you go to.
And finally ..... ENJOY IT!!!!!! It's what the guys are doing it for!
Hope that helped youuuu and hope you go and have a great time. If you have anymore questions feel free to PM and I'll try and get back to you _________________

I might go to the concert in Montreal, but my mum isn't too happy that it's standing room only. Might not get the best spot...and she's worried about the crowd situation. People getting hurt and stuff. Montreal isn't exactly the safest city in Canada. She's kind of worried I might get knifed! But, yeah, any ideas on how to convince parents to let you go to concerts? _________________

from day one i talked about getting out
but not forgetting about
how my worst fears are letting out
he said why put a new address
on the same old loneliness
when breathing just passes the time
until we all just get old and die
now talking's just a waste of breath
and living's just a waste of death
and why put a new address
on the same old loneliness
and this is you and me
and me and you
until we've got nothing left |

I wish that would work for me! My room is EXPECTED to be clean. And when I do clean it, I just get allowance. I need to buy my own tickets... _________________

just one question.
how long does a concert usually go for.
actually two questions.
and what happens if you're in the pit and you get tired and need to sit down?? _________________ i'm a siren. wwwweeeeeeeooooooohhh. |

1. it usually depends how many bands there are there. for an average concert with about 4 bands, if it starts at 7 youll be out by 11. but it all depends on the amount of bands and their sets.
2. ive been in that situation many times. you can do a number of things actually. usually id just crowd surf out and watch from the back for the rest of the show or like try to get back up front. OR if your close enough you can just get a security guard to pull you out. every way, if you need to breathe you have to get out.
